In connection with the processing of your personal data, q.beyond AG (hereinafter referred to as q.beyond, also "we", "us") is subject to information obligations under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For what purposes and on what legal basis is your personal data processed?

You can apply for an advertised position or send us an unsolicited application at karriere.qbeyond.de. To do so, we require your personal data such as title, surname, first name, address, e-mail address (optionally: Date of birth, nationality, landline/mobile number, school education and vocational training, studies, work experience, starting date, period of notice, salary expectations, application documents, statement concerning the accuracy of information supplied, extension of data-storage period). You can upload your application documents to our portal via the corresponding button. We require the data to conduct the application procedure. This data is processed for the purposes of initiating and deciding on the establishment of an employment relationship in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

If and insofar as the processing of personal data fulfils a legal obligation to which q.beyond is subject, art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR shall apply as the legal basis.

If you have given us your consent, we will process your personal data and application documents within our applicant pool. During this period, we will review the advertised positions of our group members for a potentially suitable job for you and suggest these to you. Typically, this involves the following subsidiaries of q.beyond AG:

The processing within the subsidiaries is carried out exclusively for the purposes described above and in accordance with the conditions mentioned in this notice regarding deletion and retention.

For the use of the JKIM AI Caller Agent, consent according to art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR is required to record, transcribe, and summarize your answers to applicant questions. This is done for the purpose of efficiently conducting the application process.

When you access the website or retrieve a file stored on the website, we collect and process data. In principle, this is only done to the extent necessary to ensure a fully functional website, its content and services. When accessing the website, the following is logged: browser type/version, operating system used, IP address, date and time of the server request. The legal basis for the storage of data/log files is art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR.

The data stored will be erased as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was originally collected. Data may be stored for longer periods. In this case, the user's IP addresses will be erased or distorted, so that assignment of the accessing client will no longer be possible.

When a user visits our website, the user receives information about the use of cookies and we obtain the user's consent to processing of personal data.

The cookies used do not store any personal data. The information we receive based on cookies is anonymized. Of course, you can always disable cookies if your browser allows this. Please note that if you configure your browser not to accept cookies (from our website), some functions and features of this website may not be available or only to a limited extent. The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies for analytical purposes is art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR, providing the user has consented accordingly. Technically necessary cookies are used to facilitate the use of websites. The user data collected by technically necessary cookies will not be used to create user profiles. We use analysis cookies to improve the quality of the website and its content. The analysis cookies tell us how the website is used and enable us to continue improving the content of our website.

Which recipients receive your personal data?

Processors support us in the processing of personal data. We have concluded an agreement with them to process in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Insofar as the transfer to third countries or other international organizations cannot be ruled out, we have taken appropriate guarantees and measures in accordance with Chapter 5 of the GDPR to protect your personal data.

Service providers are used for website optimization and analysis as well as personnel management software. Additionally, a messaging and voice platform, speech synthesis providers and transcription service providers are utilized in the context of AI-based job interviews.

How long will your personal data be stored?

The data will be deleted within six months of the end of the application process unless the data is still required for the implementation of an employment relationship. Application documents that are subject to retention obligations under commercial or tax law will be stored in accordance with the requirements of the statutory retention periods.

Cookies are stored on the user's computer and transmitted from there to give users full control over the use of cookies. This can also be done automatically. If you choose to disable cookies for our website, you may not be able to completely use all the functions and features of the website.

What are your rights in relation to your personal data (data subject rights)?

Under the respective legal requirements, you have the right to request confirmation at any time as to whether we process personal data and the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR). In your request for access, you should specify your request to make it easier for us to compile the necessary data. You also have the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), as well as the right to object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR) of personal data at any time, or to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time or to request data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Automated decision-making in accordance with Art. 22 GDPR does not take place while processing your personal data. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the event of data protection violations (Art. 77 GDPR).
