YOUR FUNCTIONS:
  • Together with your colleagues, take over the administration, maintenance and further development and automation of our virtualization and storage platforms (VMware vSphere/vCloud Director and NetApp) and be responsible for the operation of our multitenant Veeam Backup & Replication Services
  • Support your colleagues from 2nd level support in analyzing and resolving issues and incidents
  • Further develop our services and integrate new technologies into our stack
  • Incorporate customer requirements into the product/solution design and ensure meaningful integration into our architecture
  • Advise and provide active technical support for internal teams and customers
  • Help our customers implement their cloud strategy and understand the challenges of their operations
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • In-depth knowledge of data center architecture
  • Extensive experience in data center infrastructure, virtualization of servers (VMware vSphere) and in the backup environment with Veeam
  • Knowledge about enterprise storage infrastructures
  • Interest in technically challenging and changing issues and in actively shaping and developing products and services
  • A structured and responsible way of working, and strong communication and customer orientation
  • Experience with VMware NSX or KVM virtualization solutions would be an advantage
