YOUR FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage and improve a landscape of 150+ business applications from standard solutions to custom-built systems
  • Install, configure, and administer server- and cloud-based applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, handle service requests, and provide 2nd/3rd level support
  • Take part in an on-call rotation for business-critical apps (fair schedule + compensation)
  • Support the entire application lifecycle - onboarding, daily operations, and optimisation
  • Translate new customer requirements into stable, reliable operations
  • Keep documentation up to date and contribute to our internal knowledge base
  • Spot and solve bottlenecks, automate repetitive tasks, and improve reporting
  • Work closely with different teams to ensure smooth, reliable application operations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Degree in an IT-related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Experience in analysing application problems and coordinating solutions
  • Strong skills with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS)
  • Experience with Linux systems and web hosting technologies (Apache Tomcat/IIS)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container-based applications
  • Experience with Identity Providers (e.g., Keycloak), secret management, and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Interest in automation, process improvement, and reporting
  • Strong teamwork skills, but also able to work independently
  • Good English skills (German is a plus)
